The Aerial Environment

Good air exchange and circulation is a vital part of controlled environment gardening. Plants increase humFanidity and use up available carbon dioxide rapidly. Controlling temperature, humidity, and Co2 availability can be easily achieved with a squirrel cage blower fan and a length of flexible dryer hose.

The fan is hung or mounted closer to the ceiling than the floor, forcing warm stale air out through the dryer hose. Cool Co2 rich air is drawn in through cracks or vents closer to the floor. The fan may be cycled by a timer or connected to a thermostat or environment control device. This allows the grower to give the plants an optimum aerial environment at all times. Blower fans come in a wide variety of sizes, and are rated according to the amount of air the move per minute. A 245 C.F.M. will displace 245 cubic feet of air in one minute. To choose the right fan for your grow room, first determine the size and average temperature range of the area. If a cooling effect is required, which is usually the case, the fan should be large enough to change all the air in the room in about three minutes or less. A 400 C.F.M. fan should be adequate far a 1200 cubic foot area, unless the room gets unusually warm.

Carbon Dioxide Enrichment

In an outdoor garden the CO2 level in the air is about 300 parts per million (ppm). Plants thrive when they are able to take in a higher level of CO2. Growers today monitor their greenhouse CO2 levels with special purpose control monitors which in turn operate CO2 burners or generators to replenish CO2 consumed by the plants.

Ultra Violet Ozonator

Air deodorizing and purification

Breathe easy while the Ozonator attacks and neutralizes odors at the source. Ozonators eliminate odors caused by molds and mildew and damp basements.

Ozonators generate Ozone (O3) - one of the most powerful oxidizer available. O3 doesn't just mask odors like mere air fresheners, it neutralizes odors at the source, then harmlessly converts to CO2 and oxygen.

They works silently with the same ozone generating technology available in units costing hundreds of dollars more.

They are ideal for grow rooms and green houses... or anywhere that can benefit from purer, cleaner air.

  • Installs in minutes or take it with you anywhere!
  • Operates for less than a 60 watt light bulb
  • No maintenance required

Odor Neutralizing Agent

Odor neutralizing agents are scientifically engineered to be completely non toxic and environmentally safe. It has proven to effectively neutralize virtually any odour permanently. It does not merely mask odors but bonds with the offending molecules rendering them odour less. The active ingredients are a blend of 32 essential oils and plant derived compounds, native to Australia and Asia. Effective even in low concentrations of 500:1, these components neutralize a wide spectrum of odors. There is not a more effective odour control product on the market today. A safe and biodegradable product designed for use in any environment.

Super concentrate liquid odour counteractant can be added to misting systems or humidifiers for odour control of the entire room. Small containers or wick jars can be filled with concentrate and placed in all areas of contamination. The bucket contains hygroscopic polymer gel which has been saturated with concentrate. Simply open the lid and place in desired location. Regulate strength by exposing more or less surface to the air. The bucket should last 3 to 5 weeks. Reconstitute the polymer by adding the 1 litre refill.

This is a semi-solid block of counteractant which can be placed around where ever odours lurk. Remove the top or poke holes in it to release the agent as required. The blocks can be placed directly in ventilation ducting to neutralize undesirable odours as they are evacuated. Each block lasts 15 to 30 days. Liquid concentrate in a handy pump sprayer is excellent for hundreds of greenhouse and household purposes. Instantly spot treat and source of smell on contact. Spray directly into the air to neutralize air borne odours.
