Better World is Eco-friendly.

In fact we feel that we're miles ahead of the competition when it comes to stewardship of the
environment.
Here's why:
If the human species disappeared from the earth, Better World Plant Food would still be produced
anywhere there are insects. Which is everywher. They would just go on doing what they do, which is
to continuously recycle the environment. It's in their nature. It's what they do.

No fossil fuel inputs are used to manufacture Better World Plant Food.  That’s a good start.
You might even say that’s a great start. Much better than the vast majority of plant nutrients and
fertilizers on the market.

No salts are used to manufacture Better World Plant Food.  All synthetic fertilizers are primarily based
on salts.  Salts accumulate in soil and create a toxic environment for both plants  and beneficial
organisms.  Low salt content also means low damage to the greater environment - waterways and
infrastructure.

The organic plant-based ingredients that we feed our industrious insects are locally sourced. We
don’t have to ship fish, or kelp, or ash, or any other ingredients across an ocean or a continent. 
And we don’t rip up the earth in mining operations either.  

We use only a minimal amount of energy in the manufacturing process. We need some electricity
to turn on the facility lights and, in winter, we need to heat the place. That’s it! 

So, in a nutshell, we've been extremely mindful of minimizing any negative environmental impacts
every single step of the way.
